Spring cave group

Quanshui town is 30 kilometers northwest of Qianwei County in Sichuan Province, and faces Shixi town and BAGOU town in the East. It is closely connected with the famous industrial heritage Jiayang small train. It borders Haiyun township of Muchuan County in the south, Fulu town of Shawan District in the west, Shilin and Xilong towns of Wutongqiao District in the north. The cave group is mainly distributed in heierdang mountain in sankuatian village and chenjialong village, Quanshui Town, Qianwei county. There are five caves in total, covering an area of about 5 square kilometers. It is roughly in the range of 103 ° 40 ′ E and 29 ° 16 ′ n. All around the cave group are surrounded by Alsophila spinulosa trees, which are known as living fossils of plants in ancient times.

Landscape in cave

In the group of caves, the largest cave is several kilometers deep and about 20 meters wide. In some places, such as spacious halls, people can run and jump; in some places, such as narrow tunnels, people can only crawl and snake A large number of karst karst rocks are distributed in the cave. Some look like bamboo shoots, some look like bamboo hats The stones on the ground are in different shapes. Because they are dripped all the year round, they all form deep traces of water drops, which makes people truly feel the "dripping wears through the stone". Some of the caves are high above the cliff, and some of them are lying next to the underground river. There are clear underground streams flowing in the caves all the year round. Hundreds of meters deep into the caves, you can still find small fish, shrimp and crabs. But because of the dark environment all the year round, these small creatures have become as transparent as handicrafts. In addition, there are also some openings that suddenly subside on the ground, such as the wellhead, which is called the shaft in technical terms. The explorers can only rely on technical equipment to hang down for investigation.

Investigation and evaluation

As early as April 2005, invited by Qianwei culture, culture and Tourism Bureau, experts of geological resources and tourism planning and design major of Chengdu University of technology conducted a field investigation on the karst caves in Quanshui town. When the experts walked into the cave, they were attracted by the beautiful natural landscape in front of them. They were all called marvelous and had to admire the uncanny workmanship of nature. The experts highly appraised the cave group and thought it had high development value. However, due to the lack of environmental protection awareness of the villagers in previous years, the karst caves have been damaged by human activities. Now only the stalactites in Tongtian cave, Maogou cave, Yanger cave and Shaniu cave are preserved completely.

Traffic conditions

At present, the spring cave group does not have the conditions for opening to the outside world, so it is only suitable for exploration. Starting from Chengdu, via Chengdu Leshan expressway, 126 km to Leshan. Without getting off the expressway, go directly to Leshan Yichang expressway for 45 km to Qianwei exit. And then by County Road 30 kilometers to Quanshui town. You can also go from Leshan exit of Chengle Expressway to Shawan via Hulu town and Fulu Town, about 60 km to Quanshui town. But the road condition from Fulu to Quanshui is poor, so it is not suitable for cars to drive in rainy days.
