Changli tourist sand sliding activity center is located in the gold coast, which is known as one of the eight most beautiful coasts in China. It is 37.5 km away from Beidaihe, 20 km away from Changli County, and only 10 km away from the entrance and exit of Beijing Shenyang Expressway. It has convenient transportation and connects the North and the south. Under the action of sea tide and monsoon, huge sand dunes are formed along the coast, which are rare in the world. The height is 30-40 meters.

In 1986, inspired by skiing, this new and interesting natural sand skiing project was created by using the natural tall sand dunes to imitate a sport along the coast of Namibia in Africa. It is the first unit to develop sand skiing tourism project in China and even in the world. Therefore, the international sand skiing activity center is also known as "the first one in the world".
