Boxin water source Cave Scenic Spot is located in Boxin village, 22 kilometers southwest of Fengshan County, Guangxi, with a total area of about 14 square kilometers. It is a complete karst landform. It consists of Boxin River, Shuiyuan cave, Feilong cave, Nantianmen, leibiyan, shegeng overpass and other scenic spots. Boxin scenic spot is fascinating because of its unique mountains, beautiful waters and mysterious caves. In fact, the Boxin river is an underground river, which is formed only when the Boxin river is exposed. It is composed of Pingle, Jinya and Jiangzhou undercurrents in Fengshan. The underground flow is more than 50 kilometers, with an average flow of 5.1 cubic meters per second. It is the largest and longest karst cave River in Guangxi. The whole course of Boxin river is more than 60 kilometers. The underground flow is winding and the open flow is occasionally exposed, forming a large-scale, magical and colorful karst landscape and groundwater group landscape. The open stream from the underground is like a dragon winding around the Boxin dam, and then turns into the paocun cave corridor through the Boxin bridge.

Shuiyuan cave is a unique scenic spot of Boxin river. It is said that in ancient times, there lived a big rhinoceros in the deep pool of the cave. The cave was too narrow to go out, and it often appeared in the morning pool, so it was also called "rhinoceros Palace". Shuiyuan cave is 690 meters long and 16-30 meters deep. It is a skylight connected to the underground river and is known as "Zhonghua three caves"

What's more wonderful is that there is a fairy bridge in the left hall, with a span of about 60 meters. Under the fairy bridge, the huge yellow stone milk stands like a golden pagoda of the imperial palace. It is said that there are also underground river waterfalls in the deep. Leipiyan is 600 meters away from the water source cave. The huge stone slab standing up naturally is about 70 meters high, 15 meters wide and 4 meters thick. It has a folk legend that "the immortal builds a bridge for the benefit of the people".

Social concern

With its mysterious color, Boxin Water Cave Scenic Spot has attracted the attention of experts and the press at home and abroad. In 1987, Chinese and British experts on karst exploration conducted a seven day investigation here. In 1992, Guangxi TV station and CCTV successively publicized and reported the natural landscape of Boxin scenic spot, and gradually got the favor of all walks of life.
