Kongshuidongtang is built on the pier at the outlet of kongshuidongtang. Founded in the period of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (713-756), it was originally named Longquan Temple and later changed to Dali temple. The existing ten thousand Buddha Hall is composed of three beamless halls, which were built at the end of Ming Dynasty. There is a stone plaque with lotus petals carved in relief around the gate. On the front of the hall and at the bottom of the two Gables, there is a 23.8-meter-long and 2.4-meter-high picture of ten thousand Bodhisattvas' Dharma Association, which is made of 31 rectangular white marble reliefs. It is the representative of relief art in Tang Dynasty. Kongshui cave in wanfotang is one of the earliest sites of Fangshan stone scriptures. It occupies an important position in the study of Fangshan stone scriptures and is a key cultural relic under protection in Beijing.
