New Lake Park

Xinhu park is located on Renmin North Road in Maoming City. It was built in 1987 and opened to tourists. The park covers an area of 22.26 hectares, including 10.13 hectares of water area and only 0.28 hectares of building area, accounting for only 1.3% of the total area. The park has children's Park, water park, yacht wharf, coffee shop, exhibition hall and other main facilities. The park is divided into three functional areas. North District is a quiet rest area, with a large area of green space, trees and rich plant varieties. The eastern district is a landscape area with large rockery pools and large sculptures. The other is the lake area. There are two islands in the lake, one is the North Island, and the other is the pumice. The reconstruction and upgrading of Xinhu Park in 2019 aims to build a diversified ecological leisure park, which involves many aspects. For example, two cross Lake bridges, four hydrophilic platforms and additional toilets will be built to make it more convenient for citizens to visit the new Lake Park. A number of new theme squares, involving party building, calligraphy, music, etc., will be built to increase the flavor of calligraphy and cultural elements, as well as fitness places for the elderly and children's paradise
