Lin Wu Dong scenic spot

Linwu cave is named for its flat like a house and its upright stone like a forest. It ranks ninth among the top ten caves of Taoism, and is also called "the heaven of the left God and the void". Taoist relics such as golden dragon, jade slips and statues of gods of Tang Dynasty have been unearthed from Linwu cave. A thousand praises of the ancient poem: "a mountain flies in the Taihu Lake, and a thousand beauties are hidden in the forest house cave.".  

There are also holes in the cave, which are connected with each other, quiet and deep, curved and folded. There are stone rooms, dragon beds, silver rooms, stone bells, stone drums, Jinting, Yuzhu, Baizhi, Jinsha, longpen, gefanmen, Shiyan, Yinquan, Ruquan and other stone scenes in the cave. It's deep and unpredictable.

There are many capable people in the history of Taoist culture, and they are often far away from the world and live in the mountains. It is located in the south of Linwu cave, also known as Wuwu jingshe. It is the seclusion place of Wuwu hermit in Song Dynasty. He once served as the magistrate of Pingjiang (now Suzhou), but was dismissed in February, so he built a garden and lived in seclusion, claiming to live in "Daoyin garden". His story of Daoyin garden was carved at the entrance of the forest house.

The best time to travel here is in early spring, a wonderful place to enjoy plum blossom. As soon as you enter Xishan Island, along the lakeside hills, plum blossoms are blooming all over the mountains. It's as white as snow. When you enter the forest, it's like entering a sea of flowers. "There are flowers everywhere you enter the mountain, and you don't know the distance between the high and low roads." it is warm in winter and cool in summer, and the forest cave has constant temperature and wonderful scenery, which was praised as a fairyland by the ancients.

The "three treasures of Taihu Lake" (silver carp, white shrimp and Coilia Mystus) are rich here. You can taste them as you like, and then add two or three farm dishes.

Transportation: public transportation:

① Suzhou Wuzhong bus station → Linwu Cave: take bus No.58 (Wuzhong mall)

② Suzhou railway station → Linwu Cave: route 69 (starting from the railway station) to the scenic spot

Self driving:

① Hangzhou direction → Linwu cave

Starting from Hangzhou: Hangzhou can go from Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway on Qianjiang second bridge to Jiaxing, then turn to Zhajiasu expressway, and then approach Suzhou. At the exit of Wuzhong District, turn to Suzhou Southwest Ring Expressway. The journey is about 18 km. Then go to xishanxia expressway, and drive to Taihu bridge. You can get to Xishan directly. Please pay attention to the road signs.

② Shanghai direction → Linwu cave

Scheme 1: Huning Expressway - Wuzhong crossing of Suzhou Jiahang Expressway - Yuehu road - Taihu tourism highway - Taihu bridge - Jintang.  

Plan 2: Hongqiao Airport Highway - Suzhou east ring road - Yuehu road - Taihu tourism highway - Taihu bridge - Jintang (Xishan).  

Scheme 3: Shanghai Nanjing Expressway - Suzhou Ring Expressway (East) Luzhi direction - Suzhou Shanghai Expressway (East Mountain and west mountain of Suzhou) - Xishan exit, turn right to enter the Taihu Lake ring Avenue - go along Taihu Lake and cross Taihu Lake Bridge (three in total) - Jinting (West Mountain).  

③ Nanjing direction → Linwu cave
