Rizhao Heshan scenic spot

Rizhao Heshan scenic spot is located ten kilometers northwest of Rizhao City, in the West Heshan mountain system of Heshan Town. The scenic spot is adjacent to the urban area in the South and Rizhao tourism Gold Coast in the East. It is connected with the "Lunan National Forest Park", which is known as the golden beach. It is close to the "Tongsan expressway" and "National Highway 204", and six kilometers away from the Liancun exit of "Tongsan expressway". The traffic is very convenient.

The scenic spot was built in the early 1990s. Through nearly 20 years of environmental protection and vegetation restoration, the natural environment has been among the best in Rizhao. The "Rizhao giant book" cliff carvings in the area are the landmark landscape of Rizhao City. They are famous all over the world together with the golden beach. They are the important scenic spots of Rizhao tourism planning "mountain and sea tour". The scenic spot is named after "the source of many rivers". The word "Rizhao", which represents the modern image of Rizhao, is engraved on the overhanging wall of the top of the mountain. But the mountain spring undercurrent murmurs, like the sound of the zither, like playing the Guqin "high mountain and flowing water", which makes people think of the ancient feeling.

The ancient pavilion at Wanghai has a peculiar shape, with four eight ridge stone pillars and four cloud angle shaped stone slabs. The inscriptions on the four sides of the pavilion corner are "Wanghai" in the East, "zhandai" in the west, "Guanfeng" in the South and "Yangchen" in the north. On the pavilion, there was originally a mountain bell with a weight of 1000 kg, which could be heard for tens of miles. There is a poem written by Li Wenxing, magistrate of Wanli County in Ming Dynasty.

Valentine's Valley, Swiss Valley, yunjinping and other scenic spots are beautiful with green mountains and waters, luxuriant vegetation and fragrant wild flowers. From spring to autumn every year, there are more and more tourists, making them a good place for Rizhao citizens to go for outing and leisure. Standing on the qifengling mountain, you can hear the waves of pines.
