Shanrong tomb exhibition hall is a special exhibition hall of Social Sciences named after ancient ethnic minorities.

Located in Zhangshanying Town, Yanqing County. It opened to the outside world in 1991. It covers an area of 9300 square meters and a construction area of 600 square meters. In 1984, seven remains of Shanrong's tomb were found within a hundred Li area of Yanqing. After five years of excavation, more than 400 tombs have been cleared, and about 8000 pieces of various cultural relics with unique Shanrong cultural characteristics, such as gold, copper, pottery, jade, stone and bone, have been unearthed. Among them, there are more than 400 treasures, including bronze tripod, plate, short sword, golden tiger, golden Huang, gold earrings, gilt shell ornaments, etc. The unearthed daggers, bronze short swords and copper knives are important materials for the study of ancient weapon history. There are 10 tombs in the museum, including 2 large chief tombs, 5 medium-sized tribe members tombs and 3 small tribe members tombs. All of them have been excavated and sorted out by scientific means and preserved in their original state. Most of the tombs are rectangular vertical pits with wooden burial utensils. The deceased is decorated with copper wire spring earrings, agate or stone bead necklaces under the neck, and a face towel covered with copper buckle and linen cloth. Male knights are all bronze daggers with straight blades, and those with higher status are equipped with bronze harness. Women often wear copper cones and needles. There were horses, cattle, sheep, dogs and so on. Besides the exhibition hall, there are tombs specially designed for simulating archaeology. In the tombs of Shanrong nationality that have been cleared, copies of human skeletons and funerary objects are placed for the audience and archaeologists to "excavate".
