School history

In May 1984, Henan Provincial cadre school for reform through labor and reeducation through labor was established.

In December 1986, Henan reform through labor cadre school was renamed Henan reform through labor police school.

In October 1992, Henan reform through labor police school was renamed Henan Judicial Police School.

In November 1997, Henan Judicial Police officer school was approved by Henan Provincial People's government as a key general secondary vocational school at the provincial and ministerial level.

In May 1998, Henan Judicial Police officer school was recognized as a key secondary school by the Ministry of justice.

In May 2000, Henan Judicial Police officer school was recognized as a national key technical secondary school by the Ministry of education.

In June 2000, the Ministry of justice of the people's Republic of China incorporated the Henan Judicial Police Academy into the key construction plan of the national judicial police academy.

In April 2001, with the approval of Henan Provincial People's government, Henan Judicial Police College was upgraded to Henan Judicial Police Vocational College.

In November 2006, Henan Vocational College of judicial police officers passed the evaluation of talent training in Colleges and universities organized by Henan Provincial Department of education.

In November 2013, Henan Judicial Police Vocational College passed the evaluation of talent training in Higher Vocational Colleges organized by Henan Provincial Department of education.

In August 2010, Henan Judicial Police Vocational College was recognized by the Ministry of justice as one of the first batch of national experimental colleges of political and legal police recruitment and training system reform.

In March 2015, Henan Judicial Police Vocational College was awarded the second batch of excellent legal talent education and training base by the political and Law Commission of Henan provincial Party committee, Henan Provincial Department of education and Henan Provincial Department of justice.
