Keduhe ancient post road is 5000 meters long and about 2 meters wide, winding along the mountains. It opened in the Qin and Han Dynasties, passing Weining of Guizhou to Zhaotong and Sichuan in the north, and Xuanwei to Kunming in the south through Qujing. As early as the Qin and Han Dynasties, it was the "National Road" between Yunnan and the mainland. Along the post road, there are many ancient monuments, cliff carvings and other monuments, such as "ZHUGE camp" in Zhuge Liang's southern expedition and "ZHUGE camp" in Ming Dynasty Ancient battlefields, ancient fortresses, beacon towers, etc. On the cliff on the North Bank of Kedu River, there is a white sandstone among the lush shrubs, which looks like "Cuiping snow" from a distance. On the hillside of the "V" shaped pass on the north bank, peach trees grow into forests. When the spring is warm and the flowers bloom, the peach flowers fall in the stream of the pass, forming the wonder of "peach blossom in full bloom". At the foot of Cuiping cliff along the post road, there are four characters of "flying rainbow standing Crane" carved on the leaning boulder. On Cuiping cliff, there are eight big characters of "high mountains and long waters, flowing clouds in the water". Each character is about 3 meters high, and the font is vigorous and elegant. Kedu pass in the south of Kedu village is located in the dangerous pass of the ancient post road.

brief introduction
As early as 2000 years ago, the bell of the caravan on the Silk Road rang through the deep mountains and valleys. "The town of tanwanyan, six imperial edicts in Nantong, Sanba in the north, Jinzhu in the East, Guanbao in the travel, and Confucius in an endless stream." The bumpy and tortuous post road records the frequency and hardship of ancient business travel activities. It seems that the sound of horse's hooves and eardrum can be heard when visitors climb here.
history
Kedu village used to be Xuanwei economic and cultural exchange center in ancient times; it was one of the earliest places for Yunnan people to inherit Central Plains culture and promote frontier culture; it was a pearl on the ancient Silk Road in South China; it was an important transportation hub from Yunnan to the capital, known as "the key to Yunnan". The superior location and convenient transportation have made a positive contribution to the sales of Xuanwei ham to Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei and Southeast Asia. Many historic sites are still preserved in Yunnan: the provincial key protected cultural relic "Southern Silk Road keduguan post road" is the most complete, longest and largest section of ancient post road in Yunnan Province. The existing natural landscapes along the way - Cuiping snow, Taoxi Panjin, Zhuge Daying and so on, are known as "Xuanwei eight major landscapes, keduguan eight minor landscapes".
Landscape features
The natural landscape, ancient steles, cliff carvings and other cultural relics along the post road are like bright pearls. The "ZHUGE camp" where Zhuge Liang stationed troops during the southern expedition, the "ancient battlefield" and "ancient fort" and "beacon tower" during the southern expedition of Ming Dynasty have experienced many vicissitudes, but we can imagine the war and the smoke of gunpowder in those years. On the cliff about 200 meters high on the North Bank of Kedu River, there is a piece of white sandstone exposed in the lush green bush. From a distance, it looks like "Cuiping snow". There is a "V" on the North Bank of Kedu river There is a babbling brook in the shape of a mountain pass. Peach trees form a forest on the hillsides on both sides of the stream. When the spring flowers bloom, peach flowers fall into the stream with the wind, forming the wonder of "peach blossom Panjin"; the newly-built "peach blossom Creek Resort" on the South Bank of Kedu river is simple and elegant, corresponding to "peach blossom Panjin" across the river.
"Feilai ancient tree" and "kuzhu Pang gen" are amazing; at the height of 150 meters, there are eight big characters engraved on Cuiping cliff, each of which is more than three meters high and eye-catching; at the foot of Cuiping cliff, there is a huge stone leaning against it, engraved with the four characters "Feihong standing Crane", which is clerical script, elegant and full of vigor; at Kedu pass, which is located in the south of Kedu village, the gate is about four meters wide The dangerous pass of the post road is listed as a cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level.
