Shouxian museum is located in the ancient city of Shouxian, a famous national historical and cultural city. It is an earlier county-level Museum in Anhui Province, and also a large local comprehensive museum. It was established in November 1962 in 1958, and now has a collection of more than 20000 cultural relics and specimens. Among them, there are 162 first-class cultural relics, 145 second-class cultural relics and 1443 third-class cultural relics. The collection of our library has obvious regional characteristics, high grade and rich collection. Shouxian museum is located in the middle of the West Street of Shouchun Town, a famous national historical and cultural city. The new museum was built in July 2001 and completed in May 2004, with a total investment of 30 million yuan. Covering an area of nearly 20000 square meters, the main building has a construction area of 6558 square meters. There are 16 exhibition halls, 2 comprehensive exhibition halls and 1 comprehensive academic lecture hall. It is a comprehensive building with collection, academic research and display, antique appearance and modern interior. The exhibition area of the new museum is 2650 square meters. There are nine special exhibitions, namely, the treasures of Chu capital, the rhyme of Han and Wei dynasties, the glory of ancient kilns, the art of Buddha capital, the colorful porcelain, the fragrance of Han ink, the essence of stele inscriptions, the character Yinghua and the collection of fine works.
Shouxian Museum
