Xinluhai

Xinluhai is located at the foot of queer mountain in dege County, on the side of Sichuan Tibet highway, 98 km away from Ganzi County, 100 km away from dege County, with an altitude of 4040 meters, an average depth of 10 meters, and the deepest of 15 meters. It is a famous ice lake in Ganzi Prefecture. The source of water is supplied by the glacier and snow melting in queershan, and the stream flowing from the tail of the lake is one of the source heads of the cuoqu river. The Tibetan name of xinluhai is yulonglacuo. Jade is the heart, dragon is the inclination, and lacuo is the sacred lake. It is said that in the famous Tibetan epic "the biography of King Gesar", Princess Zhumu, the hero of Gesar, came to the lake and was attracted by the beautiful scenery of the lake and the quiet environment. She wandered around the lake and forgot to return. Her heart of nostalgia for the beautiful rivers and mountains was still deep at the bottom of the sea. Later generations named it yulonglacuo in memory of Zhumu. The ecology of xinluhai and its surroundings is primitive and complete. Crystal clear large glaciers from the altitude of 5000 meters of grain snow basin straight Lake grassland, very spectacular. The lake is surrounded by plateau spruce, fir, cypress, Rhododendron and meadow. Blue sky and white clouds, snow capped peaks, glaciers flashing, green mountains melting, green grass, sparkling. There are many wild ducks and fish swimming in the lake. In summer and autumn, the mountain flowers are brilliant and beautiful. It is really a fairyland in the world.

origin

The Tibetan name of xinluhai is yulonglacuo, "jade is the heart, dragon is the inclination, lacuo is the God lake.". It is the largest barrier lake in China, which formed in the late Dali glacial period. The lake area has an alpine temperate monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is only 5.5 ℃, and the average temperature in January is - 15 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 32 ℃. The lake is frozen in late September and thawed in late March of the next year. The freezing period lasts for half a year and the ice thickness is 60 cm. The lake is surrounded by spruce trees, of which the spruce forests on the moraine of the glacier side in the upper reaches of xinluhai are all over 100 years old, while the spruce forests on the moraine of the glacier end in the lower reaches of xinluhai are up to 580 years old. Dark green spruce, reflecting the ice like jade lake, is a pure fairyland.

Xinluhai white lipped Deer Nature Reserve xinluhai nature reserve is located in maniyuge Township, dege county (Gengqing town), northwest of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is 100km away from dege county and 98km away from Ganzi County (Ganzi town). With a total area of 2381.5 hectares, it was approved as a state-level nature reserve in 1995 and a provincial nature reserve in 1999. To protect the plateau natural ecological environment, white lipped deer and other wild animal and plant resources. It is the largest white lipped deer reserve in China.

Good ecological environment provides good natural conditions for the habitat and reproduction of many organisms. There are nearly 180 species of wild animals in the area, including 10 species of national first-class protected animals and 33 species of second-class protected animals. The main wild animals include white lipped deer, leopard, snow leopard, green tailed red pheasant, Banwei hazelnut, vulture, forest musk deer, white rumped deer, yangpan, Tibetan eared pheasant, blood pheasant, Golden Eagle, gazelle, vulture and red fox. There are abundant plant resources in the area, such as Picea asperata, Cupressus orientalis, alpine lakes and Saussurea involucrata. Integrating modern glaciers, alpine lakes, primeval forests and wild animal and plant resources, the scenic spot is a good place for plateau tourism, sightseeing, photography, sketching and scientific research.

traffic

Starting from Chengdu, all the way westward, via Kangding, Luding, daoluo, Luhuo and Ganzi. Manigango, a small town on the north line of Sichuan Tibet, is about 800 km away in three days.

Take the shuttle bus from Ganzi to manigango, and then walk from manigango for 2 hours. You can also charter a bus. The price is about 80-120 yuan.
