Chen Qubing tomb is located at the southwest foot of Huqiu in changmenwai, in Huqiu scenic area. It was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Suzhou in 1982.
Chen Qubing died in his hometown Tongli town in October 1933. On the 36th anniversary of the founding of Nanshe in November 1935, Liu Yazi and other members of the society moved his coffin to the foot of Huqiu mountain, the birthplace of Nanshe, and held a grand public sacrifice.
The tomb is located in the fir forest at the southwest foot of Huqiu, facing south, in the shape of a cauldron, surrounded by green bricks and capped with cement, with a diameter of 5.9 meters and a height of 2.2 meters. After the construction of concrete Luocheng, in front of the stele, set up stone for the case, paving the graveway. The monument is inscribed with the inscription "the tomb of Mr. Chen Peiren who is taboo to get rid of illness" written by Liu Yizheng, with two cranes flying on the forehead. In 1982, it was renovated by Huqiu Mountain Scenic Area Management Office.

Chen Qubing (1874-1933), named Peiren, is a native of Wujiang and one of the founders of Nanshe. In his early years, he followed Dr. Sun Yat Sen and spared no effort to publicize the revolution. He made important contributions to the revolution of 1911, which overthrew the monarchy of the Qing Dynasty, and the movement of protecting the law, which crusaded against Yuan Shikai. Most of his poems express patriotic passion with vigorous and solemn style. In his later years, he was a professor of Southeast University, director of the revolutionary museum, and chairman of Jiangsu Branch of the antiquities preservation Committee of the University. In October 1933, he died of illness in his hometown Tongli town.
