Lijiang Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Spot (central Tiger Leaping Gorge)

Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the deepest gorges in China. It starts from Qiaotou town of Shangri La and ends in Daju County of Lijiang, with a total length of about 20 kilometers. Tiger Leaping Gorge is divided into three sections: upper Tiger Leaping, middle tiger leaping and lower tiger leaping. Lijiang Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Spot is only a 2 km long sightseeing plank road on the upper Tiger Leaping cliff wall, while Shangri La Tiger Leaping Gorge includes upper, middle and lower sections, which is a paradise for outdoor and hiking enthusiasts.

The plank road in Lijiang Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area is very smooth and easy to walk. It is more suitable for families to travel and play. If you really can't afford it, you can also take a rickshaw in the scenic spot. Each rickshaw can take 2 people, about 60 yuan per car.

Traffic information: you can take a shuttle bus to Hutiaoxia town (Qiaotou) in Lijiang ancient city. You can also charter a car to get there. The cost is 300-400 yuan

Ticket information: 50 yuan per person, 25 yuan per person for children over 1.2 meters and student certificate, free for children under 1.2 meters and over 60 years old with senior citizen card or ID card
