Jingyuan Fort

In Beilun District small port Jinji Shandong Port bay head. In 1880 (the sixth year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty), it was rammed with Sanhe soil. The plane is concave. The original five holes are 45 meters long, 9 meters wide and 4.4 meters high. The gun chambers are separated by walls, playing a role in the Zhenhai war of the Sino French war. The original British Steel gun in Taiwan is now moved to Jiaoshan Park in the city's economic and Technological Development Zone.

There are five barracks. In the 10th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty (1884), four 80 pound rifled guns of Amsterdam and one 80 pound rifled gun of wawasi were set up. It was the biggest fort of zhenhaikou coastal defense system at that time, and played an important role in Zhenhai campaign of Sino French war. The partition walls of 5 barracks and gun rooms have all been destroyed. The inner part of the fort is seriously damaged, and the outer contour of the fort is relatively complete. In November 1996, as a part of zhenhaikou coastal defense site, it was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council.
