Taimu Mountain

Taimu mountain is located in Fuding City on the border of Fujian and Zhejiang. It is 118 kilometers north to Wenzhou and 200 kilometers south to Fuzhou. Tongsan Expressway and Wenfu Railway pass through it, with convenient transportation. It stands on the coast of the East China Sea, with mountains and seas depending on each other. Taimu mountain is located in the northeast of Fujian Province. In a narrow sense, Taimu mountain refers to the mountainous area of Qinyu town in the south of Fuding City, with Fuding peak as the center. It is also the core area of Taimu mountain scenic spot. It is 45 kilometers south of Fuding City, about 120 degrees east longitude and 27 degrees north latitude. It stands on the coast of the East China Sea, facing the sea on three sides and mountains on one side. The main peak is 917.3 meters above sea level. In a broad sense, Taimu mountain refers to a series of mountains, or Taimu mountains, which are distributed between the east of Jiaoxi and the East China Sea in the northeast of Ningde City.

It is said that in the Yao Dynasty, the old mother planted blue (bluegrass, whose juice is blue, which is used to dye cloth) in the mountains. It is said that the immortals of the East China Sea gather here all the year round, so it has a good reputation as the "fairy capital on the sea". Main peaks

Dongshan, also known as Yuhu mountain and Dongshi mountain, is located in the east of Zherong county and belongs to the middle part of Taimu mountain range. Dongshan, the main peak, is 1479 meters above sea level, the highest peak in Zherong county. The mountain slopes from northwest to Southeast. It is the birthplace and watershed of Xiyang River, Longxi River and Chixi river. Geologically, it belongs to Mesozoic volcanic rock and granite structure. Mu Haijian, also known as wanghaifeng. Geology and geomorphology

Taimu mountain is located in the continental margin of the southeast of Eurasia and the southeast edge of Eurasia plate. It is connected with the Pacific plate by island arc and trench in the East and formed in the long-term relative action of the two plates. In stratigraphic division, the South China stratigraphic area is divided into southeast coastal stratigraphic division, the Northeast belongs to Wenzhou stratigraphic District, and the rest belongs to Qingtian Zhangzhou stratigraphic district.

According to the geological structure, Taimu mountain is located in the Neocathaysian structural belt near the Pacific Ocean on the continental margin of East Asia and in the north of Yanshan volcanic fault zone in East Fujian. The geological structure is formed by multiple tectonic movements. The basic framework of the structural line is NNE and NE strike, which is mainly characterized by the intrusion and eruption of magmatic rocks in different periods (Times) along the structural line, as well as the NNE and NE trending major faults and the topography, topography and water system characteristics controlled by them.

It is located in the volcanic belt along the southeast coast of China. According to the lithologic genetic conditions, the rocks in this area can be divided into magmatic rocks, sedimentary rocks (including pyroclastic sedimentary rocks and normal sedimentary rocks) and metamorphic rocks. According to the lithologic composition and grain size, the rocks in the whole area can be roughly divided into seven types: acidic rocks (about 90.1% of the land area), neutral rocks (6.0%), basic rocks (0.15%), argillaceous rocks (1.7%), sandy rocks (1.3%), purple rocks (0.7%) and carbonaceous acid rocks (0.05%).

In geomorphology, most of Taimu mountain belongs to tectonic erosion and denudation Hilly Basin valley terrain. Generally, the altitude is less than 500 meters, the relative height is 200-400 meters, and the slope is 10-30 degrees. It is characterized by overlapping peaks and hills, broken surface, crisscross rivers, scattered basins and valleys among mountains. At the same time, on the basis of the early geological structure, due to the strong erosion of flowing water, the landform of hills, valleys and basins mainly composed of high hills were formed. Only in coastal areas, isolated low mountains were occasionally seen. Fuan basin was formed between Taimu mountain and Jiufeng Mountain.

Donglu River

Chixi is located in the southwest of Fuding. Its main tributaries are sangyuan River, Ziping River and chaxikou. Originated in zhayang, Zherong County, the first Jianshan mountain flows through Shishan, sangyuan and Chixi, and then flows into Yacheng in Xiapu and into the sea, with a drainage area of 287.2 square kilometers. The main stream is 37.6 km long with an average annual runoff of 346 million cubic meters.

Shuibeixi, originated in Zhejiang Province, flows through Fuding county and joins shachenggang. The drainage area is 341 square kilometers, and the main stream is 43.4 kilometers long, with a gradient of 7.69 ‰.

Qidu River, which originates from Fuding County, has a main stream of 58 km long and a drainage area of 334 square kilometers. The average annual runoff is 418 million cubic meters, and the average annual flow is 13.24 cubic meters per second. The river gradient is 16.2%.

Beixi, the largest river in Xiapu County. It originates from Baiyang Township and flows from chongru to Yantian to the sea from north to south. The main stream is 45 km long with a drainage area of 285.2 square km. The river gradient is 16.4 ‰. The average annual runoff is 314 million cubic meters and the average annual flow is 9.5 cubic meters per second.

Luohan River, originated from toubotou village, Baiyang Township, Xiapu County, flows from northwest to Southeast. Its main tributary is Tongyou River, which joins with the main stream under wukengyan and flows through Jiangbian, Qiaotou and Hougang to the sea. The main stream has a total length of 38 km and a total drainage area of 206.4 square kilometers. The average annual runoff is 227 million cubic meters, the average annual runoff is 7.8 cubic meters per second, and the river slope is 22.8 ‰.

Baibu River, originated from the southern foot of Wangfu mountain in Guanyang, Fuding, flows through wengxi, Yeju, tiyang and Bailin, and joins shachenggang. Its drainage area is 122 square kilometers, and its main stream is 26.1 kilometers long.

Xilu River

Xiyang stream, also known as Liuqiao stream, originates from qinglangang (yuanyangtou village, Dongyuan township) in Fuxi Township, Zherong county.
