Gucheng Lake water slow city is a phase I project of Gucheng Lake Tourist Resort, which has been put into construction since 2013. There are many kinds of Lily Garden, romantic wedding garden, mysterious reed marsh, delicate and soft golden beach, parent-child play and fishing Valley, aquatic wetland zoo and other attractions.

Introduction

On September 24, 2016, Gucheng Lake slow City, covering an area of several thousand mu, opened its garden. Gucheng Lake slow city is a demonstration project of local transformation from traditional agriculture to "tourism + modern agriculture" relying on the existing aquaculture and wetland resources, integrating popular science education, ecological tourism, water entertainment, water sports and leisure vacation.

Location context

The scenic spot is located in the center of Nanjing Zhenyang tourist area, which is the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, Southern Anhui tourist area, which is mainly Huangshan, and Suzhou Wuxi Changzhou tourist area, which is mainly Taihu Lake.

Main attractions

Golden Sands Beach

Golden beach is an open area for leisure and entertainment relying on Yongsheng lake. In the shallow water area of the beach, there is also a water recreation area, with water walking ball, water bicycle, water trampoline, water roller and other facilities.

Wedding Garden

Covering an area of more than 100 mu, it is close to the golden beach and extends along the lake. There are many kinds of flowers, such as chrysanthemum, lavender, tulip, etc. in the garden, and there are many landscape atmosphere sketches and ecological architecture sketches of various styles, which are very romantic. Wedding Garden can also undertake outdoor lawn wedding.

Lakeside flower sea

Along the lake thousands of acres of flowers, here planted Verbena, gesanghua, Bubu higher flowers, all year round, colorful.

reed marsh

The planning area is 204 mu. Relying on Yongsheng lake, the project forms an island on the north side of the inner lake, and replants a lot of reeds, reeds and Puwei to restore the reed marsh scenery of Gucheng Lake. At the same time, according to the allusions of the Three Kingdoms and the legend of the New Fourth Army, the two theme islands are built, and related theme scenic spots and sculptures are set up for later generations to look forward to and inherit. In addition, in addition to reed sightseeing, there are also theme treasure hunting, reed labyrinth and other participating experience projects.

Baihe Garden

With a total planning area of nearly 1000 mu, it is one of the core projects of the resort. The blooming period of lotus is from June to September every year. There are many varieties of lotus in the lotus garden, such as "beautiful girl", "friendship peony" and "sword dance Lotus". At the same time, water lily, duckweed and other aquatic plants are planted in the scenic area.

LOHAS forest

The ecological water circulation purification system of the whole park is completed here. The lush trees, stone bridges and clear lake water can be seen everywhere in the forest. It's a great place to walk and stop as you go.

Wetland Zoo

Covering an area of 243000 square meters, it is composed of crocodile hall, beast hall, primate hall, herbivore hall, flamingo garden, parrot hall, crane garden, Swan Lake and Peacock Garden. When visitors enter the zoo, they can see dozens of species, including Red Crowned Crane, white crowned crane, swan, wild goose, golden monkey, peacock and crocodile, with a total of more than 700 animals.

Xiyu Valley

Covering an area of 50 mu, located next to the wetland zoo, it is a special place for parent-child interaction. Xiyu Valley is divided into three areas: Xiyu area, Xiyu area and barbecue catering area, with a total of seven pools of different shapes.
