Cottage pie

Cottagepie

Introduction:

Shepherd's pie, also known as cottagepie, is a traditional British cuisine. It's not pastry like pastry in pastry. Instead, it's flour free pastry made from potatoes, meat and vegetables, which is used as a staple food. Three potatoes and a proper amount of beef and vegetables can make you have a good meal. When you increase the amount and use a large baking plate, it is also suitable for entertaining many people. "

Production steps:

Step 1: remove the blood from the shredded beef and wash it.

Step 2: cut the shredded beef into small pieces, marinate the meat with salt, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, coriander and brandy for 10 minutes, as shown in the picture.

Step 3: in a pressure cooker, add water and salt to boil the kidney beans until soft. Take out, dice the onion and mushrooms and set aside.

Step 4: wash and peel the potatoes, steam until crisp, put them in a large bowl, stir them into mud with a rolling pin or spoon, add 1 teaspoon salt, 20 ml milk and 10 g melted butter, and mix well.

Step 5: put 20g butter in the pot, heat over medium heat until the butter melts, add onion and saute until fragrant, then add diced mushrooms and diced meat and fry until done. Wrap tin foil in the baking tray (6-inch square baking mold is used here), put in a shallow layer of mashed potato, press it flat, and pour in the fried vegetable meat.

Step 6: cover the mashed potatoes on the bottom layer evenly with the vegetable meat. Pour in the remaining mashed potatoes and smooth the surface with a spoon.

Step 7: sprinkle a layer of cheese powder on the surface, then cut the mozzarella cheese into strips, put out the pattern you like, or cut into shreds and cover the whole surface. Preheat the oven at 160 ℃ for 20 minutes, then bake at 200 ℃ for 5-10 minutes.
