Chen Xiangmei was in great grief,

She wrote snow,

Chen Xiangmei, chairman of Chen Xiangmei education foundation, famous social activist and overseas Chinese leader; consultant of China Association for overseas exchanges, honorary consultant of all China Women's Federation, special consultant of China National Tourism Administration, senior consultant of Television Department of China film criticism society, chairman of Steering Committee of China Film and Television Artists dictionary, and honorary president of Hainan University.

On March 30, 2018, Chen Xiangmei passed away at her home in Washington, D.C., and lived 94 years.
