Minnan Institute of Technology

Minnan Institute of technology is approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is a full-time regular undergraduate university with engineering as the main subject, science, management, economics and other disciplines coordinated development, optoelectronic technology application as a distinctive feature, optical, mechanical, electrical integration as an advantage, and independent higher diploma qualification.

The predecessor of the college is Quanzhou Optoelectronic Information College, which was founded in 1998. In the past ten years, the college has set up majors according to the economic and social development needs of Haixi. Among them, the setting of optoelectronic technology application major fills the blank of higher vocational specialty setting in Fujian Province and surrounding provinces. It has graduated for six years, and the employment rate is more than 92%. In 2006, Fujian Provincial People's government agreed to set up an undergraduate college on the basis of Quanzhou Optoelectronic Information College, which is one of the key projects of Fujian Province in the 11th five year plan. In October 2007, the college accepted the evaluation of talent training level of Higher Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, and the evaluation conclusion was "excellent" ”。

The college is located in Shishi, a famous clothing city in China and a famous hometown of overseas Chinese surrounded by the sea on three sides. The campus is located in the beautiful baogaishan scenic spot with Minnan logo, adjacent to the municipal government. The campus covers an area of 1056.9 mu, with a building area of more than 160000 square meters. At present, the college has assets of 350 million yuan.

At present, the college has 2 provincial excellent majors and 3 provincial excellent courses.

[hardware construction] the college has an experimental teaching building of 26000 square meters, with 48 experimental (training) rooms including engineering optics, mpts modular production training system, CAD / CAM, PROE, numerical control processing, analog circuit, digital circuit, sensing technology, high frequency circuit, communication principle, EDA, single chip microcomputer, PLC, ERP, etc. Among them, ERP training center and mpts modular production training system are at the advanced level in China, and the total value of teaching and scientific research equipment is 25.23 million yuan.

The college has more than 11000 square meters of factory building, with optical cold processing factory, mold factory, electronic factory and other three campus productive practice (training) base.
