Xinjiang Institute of Applied Technology

According to the needs of economic and social development and University layout adjustment, Xinjiang applied vocational and technical college is an independent public full-time ordinary higher vocational college established in early 2012 with the approval of the people's Government of the autonomous region and the record of the Ministry of education.

Since the establishment of the seventh agricultural normal school in June 1974, the college has gone through Kuitun normal school, Kuitun Normal College of Yili Prefecture, teachers' Training College of Yili Prefecture, Yili Education College and Kuitun campus of Yili Normal College. After more than 30 years of development, more than 30000 students have been trained, which has made due contributions to the economic construction, social development and education of Xinjiang and Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. He has won the honorary titles of "national advanced collective of ethnic education", "National Advanced School of adult higher education", "national advanced unit of school art education", "model unit of ethnic unity and progress in the autonomous region", "advanced collective of democratic management" in the education system of the autonomous region, "spiritual civilization unit" in Kuitun city and Yili Prefecture.

The college is located at No. 62, Beijing West Road, Kuitun city, with beautiful campus environment and complete teaching facilities. It covers an area of 1142.8 mu, with a total building area of 130000 square meters, 300000 books, 406 teaching computers and 144 voice classrooms. At present, there are 519 teaching staff and 330 full-time teachers, including 76 teachers with graduate education and 75 teachers with senior professional titles. There are more than 4000 full-time students and nearly 2000 adult students. At present, there are 46 specialties (including 14 normal majors). In recent years, a series of positive and effective measures have been taken in the construction of infrastructure, teaching instruments and equipment, the construction of teaching staff and operation management, which have improved the basic guarantee ability and service level of the college. The comprehensive quality of students has been continuously enhanced and their employability has been continuously improved.
