1、 College profile

Ulanqab vocational college is a public full-time comprehensive general higher vocational college approved by the people's Government of the autonomous region and officially registered by the Ministry of education. There are nearly 6800 full-time students.

The college covers an area of 882 mu, with a total construction area of 170869 square meters, a total area of 87489 square meters for teaching and administration, 23950 square meters for internship and training, 66388 square meters for student dormitories, and 8031 square meters for sports venues.

The college library has a collection of 312000 books, 6000gb e-books, 480 kinds of paper professional journals, 2000 kinds of electronic professional journals, 1818 seats in the reading room, 4600 seats in the multimedia classroom, 108 seats in the voice room, and 1000Mbps broadband access to the campus network. There are 81 practice places with a total value of 77 million yuan of teaching equipment and 12900 yuan of equipment per student.

In 2013, the college was awarded the title of "advanced employment unit of the whole region" by the people's Government of the autonomous region. There are 366 full-time and part-time teachers, 24 full-time teachers and 133 associate professors. There are 3 teachers with doctoral degree, 108 teachers with master degree and 116 teachers with double qualification.
