Shanghai Xingwei college is a private non-profit four-year liberal arts college. On the basis of introducing American liberal arts education with hundreds of years of history and integrating Chinese cultural elements with thousands of years, it aims to cultivate international talents with innovative thinking and extensive knowledge who can better adapt to the changing social needs in the process of globalization.

Liberal arts education is a kind of classic "quality education", which pursues the all-round development of human beings. In order to cultivate students' international vision and cross-cultural communication skills, 80% of the teachers of Xingwei college are from famous universities in the United States, all of them have doctoral degrees, and 20% of them are well-known Chinese scholars at home and abroad.

In addition to the Shanghai campus, the college also has five overseas study tours around the world, which are in San Diego, Australia, Sydney, Italy, Florence, South America and Africa (the study tours in South America and Africa are still in preparation). During the four-year study period, the college will arrange all students to study in different overseas study places for one to two years.
