Anhui national defense science and technology vocational college was founded in 1974, formerly known as Anhui Dajiang mechanical industry school. In 1997, it was renamed Anhui national defense science and technology industry school. In June 2003, with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's government and the record of the Ministry of education, it was independently upgraded to a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college, which belongs to Anhui national defense science and technology industry office. The college is an excellent college for talent training in Anhui Province, and one of the 24 colleges with independent enrollment rights in the province.
