Jining vocational and technical college, founded in October 2000, is one of the first batch of state-run higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province, and one of the first batch of skilled talents training characteristic famous schools in Shandong Province. The college covers an area of 955 Mu and has 667 teaching staff. There are more than 12700 full-time students. The college has 17 teaching and scientific research units, 62 specialties in 16 categories, 65 on campus training centers, 681 off campus training bases, and Jining equipment manufacturing industry public training base.
