Gengdan College of Beijing University of Technology

Gengdan College of Beijing University of technology was established in July 2005 with the approval of the Ministry of education. It is an independent college jointly organized by Beijing University of technology and Beijing Gengdan education development center. It is a full-time regular undergraduate college operating according to the new mechanism and new mode.

The college is named after martyr Geng Dan, an early Chinese educator, revolutionist and doctor studying in England.

The college is located in Shunyi District, Beijing, with convenient transportation. As a key satellite new town in Beijing during the 11th Five Year Plan period, it has modern automobile production base, airport logistics base, microelectronics production base in North China, water sports venues for Beijing Olympic Games, China International Exhibition Center and the main exhibition hall of the 7th China Flower Expo in 2009.
