The predecessor of Beijing Jiaotong vocational and technical college is Changping branch of North Jiaotong University, which was built in 1984. With the development of the school and the improvement of the school running level, it was transformed into Changping Vocational and Technical College of North Jiaotong University in 1999. After six years of development, Beijing Jiaotong vocational and technical college was officially established in January 2005 with the approval of Beijing Municipal People's government It has created a new milestone in the development history of the college.
