Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Xilin Gol League is a League under the jurisdiction of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with Xilinhot as the main center, Erlianhot and Duolun as the sub centers, uriyastai as the key node in the East, and other banner (District) governments as the backbone support. As of May 2020, the league has jurisdiction over 2 cities, 9 banners, 1 county, 1 management area and 1 development zone. By the end of 2019, the permanent population of the League will be 1.0583 million.

Xilingol League is located in the central part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, bordering Mongolia in the north with a border line of 1103 km; Wulanchabu city in the West; Hebei Province in the South; Chifeng City, Tongliao City and Xing'an League in the East; 460 km from Beijing. It is the intersection of Northeast China, North China and Northwest China. It plays an important role in connecting Eurasia to the outside world and connecting East and West, North and South in the autonomous region.

In September 2016, Xilin Gol League was selected as one of the "top 100 cities in China for people's livelihood development". In June 2020, it will be selected into the list of the first batch of national demonstration areas and projects for the construction of rule of law government.

In 2019, Xilin Gol League will achieve a GDP of 79.859 billion yuan, an increase of 3.4% over the previous year. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 12.316 billion yuan, an increase of 4.9%; the added value of the secondary industry was 32.381 billion yuan, an increase of 0.6%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 35.162 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7%.

Primitive society

Xilingol League has been a place where people of all ethnic groups in northern China work, live and multiply since ancient times.
