Perennial herbaceous vines, 60-120 cm long. Stem green, slender, many branched, densely white pilose. Stipules lanceolate, about 4 mm long; leaves alternate; petioles about 1-3 cm long, densely pubescent; leaflets 3, elliptic, obovate or rhomboid obovate, 1-2.5 cm long, 7-16 mm wide, apex obtuse, apex pointed, base rounded or broadly cuneate, both sides with white pubescence, margin undulate. Raceme axillary; bracts, bracteoles narrowly lanceolate, hairy, persistent; pedicel short, white villous; calyx campanulate, densely villous; corolla yellow. Pods strip, flat, densely pilose, dehiscent at maturity. Seeds 4-5, dark green with black spots.

It grows on the edge of mountains and fields or in wet roadside grass. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi.
