Annual herb, 20-30 cm high. Stem tetragonal, branched. Leaves opposite, sessile, lanceolate, 1.5-2 cm long, 4-6 mm wide. Flowers axillary or terminal, many flowers, calyx 5-lobed; corolla white or lavender, 5-lobed, long and thin tube; stamens 5, anthers oblong, spiral curl after flowering.
