Evergreen climbing or creeping shrub, 1-1.5m high, slender stem with stipe glandular hairs, or abscission, scattered small hook like prickles. The aggregate fruit is spherical, 5-7 mm in diameter, red, with only more than 10 small drupes. The flowering period is from April to May. The fruit period is from June to August.
