[collection] it can be collected all year round, washed, sliced and dried in the sun.

[chemical constituents] the root bark contains rotenone, cineole and rotenone.

[flavor] slightly bitter, cool.

[function indications] clearing away heat and stagnation. Treatment of gastrointestinal distension, dyspepsia, gastritis pain.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 0.5-1 Liang.
