Taijiang Miao embroidery is one of the most typical folk works of Miao embroidery, mainly distributed in Shidong Town, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province.

The Miao embroidery in Taijiang is an important part of the Miao costumes. The cultural connotation of its patterns reflects the historical change process of the Miao people's frequent migration. According to its content and style, the clothing can be divided into nine types: Fangyou type, Fangjiu type, Fangnan type, fangweng type, fangbai type, fangxiu type, Weng mang type and houshao type, which can be called "Wuzi history", and is the symbol and symbol of ethnic identification. Exquisite modeling, exquisite workmanship and color matching are the standards to measure the intelligence of Miao women. Before the Miao girls get married, they have to make a set of dowry by hand. It usually takes three to five years from the beginning to the completion. Only the skillful Miao girls can win people's praise, admiration and pursuit.
