Wan Wan Qiang is named after the main percussion instrument is the small copper bowl. It is also called Ruan Er Qiang because the leading musical instrument Yueqin was formerly called "Ruan Xian". Quwo opera was introduced into Quwo by Shaanxi shadow puppet artists during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. After more than 200 years of inheritance and development, it reached its peak in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Its characteristics are as follows: singing with Yueqin, singing between bronze bowls, drum and drum; performing with sound to convey emotion, music to convey spirit, singing with white and white, and singing to win. His representative plays include Zhaojun's leaving the fortress, June snow, trapped copper platform, double repaying kindness, etc.

In 1960, Wan Wan opera troupe of Quwo County was established. In the past half century, Wanwanqiang in Quwo County has been inherited and developed from generation to generation, and 38 plays have been performed successively. Nowadays, Quwo bowl cavity has become an art form loved by local people.

At present, the multi-cultural impact of Quwo opera is serious, and the performance market is shrinking, which is in urgent need of protection.
