[source] it is the root bark and bark of guava. For plant morphology, please refer to "guava stem".

[chemical constituents] the root contains ajianolic acid. The bark contains 18.56% tannins and organic acids. The stem bark contains colorless cyanidin, Terminalia chebula tannin acid, gallic acid and aescin.

[function indications] Lingnan caiyao Lu: "the bark is calcined, and the natural juice of stinky grass is used to treat damp toxic scabies. Root skin, with white vinegar fried and contained, stop toothache; children suffering from sores and boils, and chicken feather fried and washed. "
