Petals 5, yellow, obovate; stamens 10, upper 3 undeveloped; pistil 1, ovary stalk densely covered with white bristles, style tip curled, stigma terminal. The pods are banded, 7-9 cm long, semicompressed and flattened. The seeds are constricted and moniliform. Seeds ovate, slightly oblate. The flowering period is from August to September. The fruiting period is October.
