On the afternoon of December 20, 2024, the Macao Special Administrative Region Government held a banquet to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland

About 1400 people, including He Houhua, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Cen Haohui, Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Cui Shi'an and He Yicheng, former Chief Executives of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Zheng Xincong, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central Government in Macao, Liu Xianfa, Special Commissioner of the Office of the Special Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao, Yu Changjiang, Commander of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Macao, as well as key government officials and people from all walks of life of the Macao Special Administrative Region, attended the reception held in the commercial and trade cooperation service platform complex between China and Portuguese speaking countries

In his speech, Cen Haohui stated that the new Special Administrative Region government will lead all sectors of society to earnestly study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's series of important speeches, and transform President Xi Jinping's warm care and earnest instructions into a powerful driving force for creating a new situation of "One Country, Two Systems" practice with Macau characteristics.
