At 13:44 on December 15, 2024, the Long March 8 carrier rocket was successfully transferred from the technical zone to the No.1 launch station in the Hainan commercial space launch site and will be launched at an appropriate time in the near future

The rocket was developed by the First Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and is a new generation of main medium-sized rockets in China. It uses green and environmentally friendly liquid propellants and successfully completed the entire process of rocket training on November 8th after experiencing two typhoon challenges, "Capricorn" and "Tanmei"

The No.1 launch station of Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site is a suitable station for the Long March 8 carrier rocket, which started construction on July 6, 2022 and was completed on December 29, 2023.
