Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said that on November 23, 2021, Taiwan media reported that a man surnamed Huang arrived in Xiamen on Xiamen Airlines flight mf888 on November 22 after killing with a gun and accepted centralized quarantine for epidemic prevention. Xiamen public security organ immediately launched an investigation after learning of it. After interrogation, the suspect surnamed Huang confessed to shooting and killing a man surnamed he in Xinbei city. In order to crack down on violent crimes, ensure the safety of people's lives and property on both sides of the Strait and maintain the order of cross-strait exchanges, Xiamen public security organ decided to send the suspect surnamed Huang back to Taiwan.
