Early experience

Xie Tianxiao was born in Boshan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province in December 1972, and studied painting since childhood. In 1981, influenced by his family, he began to study Peking Opera and participated in many performances with the troupe. At the beginning of 1990, he began to make his own music. In 1991, he went to Beijing alone to develop his music career.

Acting experience

In 1994, Xie Tianxiao formed a band called "the monk Hunter". At the end of the year, he composed the song "you are not like" and movie music for the movie "Vietnamese girl".

In 1995, he released the single "telling cause and effect". In the same year, Xie Tianxiao left the "monk Hunter band".

In 1997, Xie Tianxiao and his Shandong fellow Li Ming formed the "cold-blooded animals" band, which is composed of lead singer and guitarist Xie Tianxiao, bass player Li Ming and drummer Liang Xu. The drummer was replaced by wurui from Ningxia.

In 1998, "cold blooded animal" performed in Beijing howl club. In 1999, "cold blooded animal" signed a contract with Jingwen record's "howl record".

In 2000, Xie Tianxiao released his first album cold-blooded animals. Poikilotherm performed in Chinese mainland in the same year, including Shanghai and Kunming City, and later participated in the international rock festival in Japan.

In 2001, he recorded the single "right here.". In the next three years, the band was invited to participate in Sxsw and Mendocino music festivals held by south by Southwest in Texas and San Francisco.

In 2003, Xie Tianxiao returned to China, reorganized the "cold-blooded animals" band in Beijing and joined American drummer David. On April 9, 2015, Xie Tianxiao announced the signing of tree music in Beijing. On June 20, Xie Tianxiao opened the 2015 Tour Concert of "the sound of tree growth" in Shenzhen.

In May 2016, China Philatelic publishing network launched the "Dream China" theme album, and rock musician Xie Tianxiao was invited to join and launch personalized stamps. Nie Er was the first modern musician to draw stamps in China. In April 2017, eight "blackening the night" tours were held in the United States.
