Guangdong Grand Canyon (Ruyuan Grand Canyon)

The Grand Canyon runs through Dabu town in Shaoguan and Boro town in Yingde, with a total length of 15 kilometers and a maximum depth of more than 400 meters. The scenery along the way is beautiful. On both sides of the Grand Canyon are high angle cliff canyons, which are very steep. The rocks exposed in the canyon are sedimentary rocks formed more than 300 million years ago, mainly dense and hard quartzite. From the top of the cliff to the bottom of the valley, there are sightseeing ladders, as well as the steep "ladder" with 1386 stone steps.

Tour time: half a day. It will take at least 3 days to complete the tour.

Transportation information: take No.3 bus from Shaoguan railway station to Xihe bus station, 7:00-17:00 every day, 15 minutes on average. There is a bus to Ruyuan. It's about 45 minutes' drive and the fare is 10 yuan.
