Gao Jianguo, male, was born in October 1954 in Jiaonan, Shandong Province. He was born in Daxing, Jiaozhou. He was the third and twentieth generation of Gao's family. After the famous family, his ancestors, officials and military generals were numerous. He was the 74th grandson of Gaochai, the 72 sages of Confucius. Graduated from Graduate School of National Defense University, doctor of military science, lieutenant general. He is currently the political commissar and Secretary of the Party committee of the rehabilitation Office of Jinan Military Region. He was the director of the Political Department of Shenyang Military Region and an alternate member of the 18th CPC Central Committee.

Personal profile

Gao Jianguo, enlisted in the army in 1972, has successively served as propaganda officer, reporter of military region newspaper, avant-garde newspaper, Secretary of Military Region Party committee, director of propaganda department, deputy director of Organization Department and acting political commissar of division. He was awarded the rank of lieutenant general in 2011. He studied in the graduate class of National Defense University and was one of the first batch of senior graduate commanders in our army.

On November 14, 2012, he was elected as an alternate member of the 18th CPC National Congress.

In January 2016, Gao Jianguo, former deputy political commissar of Shenyang Military Region, was appointed political commissar and party secretary of the rehabilitation Office of Jinan Military Region.

Literary achievements

Gao Jianguo, a famous military writer, began to publish his works in 1970.
