In the past five years, he has successively presided over one high-tech innovation project of the State Economic and Trade Commission, two projects of the natural science foundation of Shaanxi Province, one project of the Yangling scientific research and development fund, two projects of the school youth fund and two horizontal projects, with a total scientific research fund of 630000 yuan. He has published 24 scientific research papers and one included in SCI. Two national invention patents have been applied.

In terms of teaching, he has taught organic chemistry, bio organic chemistry, separation and purification technology of organic compounds, spectral analysis of organic compounds, organic synthesis design and rapid analysis technology of food safety. In 1997, it began to recruit master's degree students, and has recruited 34 students for 8 consecutive terms, including 15 graduates and 19 students.
