In 1987, at the invitation of Asia TV (former Li's TV), Yuan Jun returned to Hong Kong for further development, changed the way of acting, played the role of villain, and won great praise. Since then, he has been transformed into a character actor and performed back and forth between Hong Kong and Taiwan. In 1996, Yuan Jun briefly left the performing arts circle and went into business in Taiwan. In 2001, at the invitation of xingjiapo TV station, he returned to the performing arts circle again. After that, he studied Minnan language, participated in Taiwan da'ai TV station, folk TV station, Taiwan TV station, and performed with his own voice.
