Xinjiang geology and Mineral Resources Exhibition Hall

It was officially launched on October 1, 984. The exhibition area is 3700 square meters, second only to the Beijing geological and mineral resources Expo and second in China. The exhibition is divided into "the origin and characteristics of the earth", "rich mineral resources in Xinjiang", "developing geological undertakings in Xinjiang" and other parts. There are nearly 2000 pictures and charts, more than 1000 kinds of physical specimens and models on display, including many large models such as artificial simulation of natural caves and radio controlled three-dimensional sand table.

Among the physical specimens on display are Xinjiang's high-quality minerals, such as petroleum, coal, cymbals, lithium, mica, asbestos, iron ore, sodium nitrate, Glauber's salt, etc. There are also Hetian jade, Manas Jasper, Altay Goutou gold, mineral gold, etc. There are 127 kinds of useful minerals discovered in Xinjiang, and most of them are exhibited here. Among them, crystal "quartz single crystal" weighing more than 70 kg, 102 kg of natural copper, hundreds of kg of beryl and hundreds of kg of Hetian jade are rare treasures. In the museum, there are handicrafts, jewelry, calligraphy, painting and other tourist souvenirs.
