Sun Jianhong received his master's degree in electronic engineering from Dartmouth College, an Ivy League school in 1992. He graduated from University of science and technology of China in 1990.

More than 8 years of experience in large enterprise application software system design and development. It was awarded the certificate of "good manufacturing practice" issued by FDA. Familiar with many e-commerce data exchange systems and standards among international commercial enterprises. He once served as the general manager of an online e-sales company in the United States, founded a new online business sales mode, and developed a new online business sales management system. In 1999, he served as senior technical consultant of Merrill Lynch Securities Investment Company, and participated in the design and development of data model and trading system in the customer network plan of Merrill Lynch. In 1998, he was the bond consultant of the trading office of Morgan investment bank. In 12 months, he successfully redesigned and developed the bond trading system of Morgan with a 24 person development team. In 1997, he served as deputy general manager of foreign exchange trading technology of Citibank, and developed Citibank's global multi regional electronic fund exchange system. In 1996, he served as assistant to the deputy general manager of global enterprise customer operation of Merrill Lynch Securities Investment Company, and developed the connection system between the settlement and liquidation system of Merrill Lynch Securities and the international financial telecommunication network. From 1993 to 1995, he participated in the development of a comprehensive hospital management system and passed the identification of the federal medical administration of the United States.
