Zhou Yun, born in Zhangjiagang City, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province on December 31, 1990, is a Chinese football player and a guard. He has played for Jiangsu football club all his career.
In March 2021, Zhou Yun decided to retire.
Early experience
Zhou Yun entered the Beibei football team of Xizhang primary school at the age of 10. Two years later, he was recruited into the echelon by Shun Tian because of his excellent performance. In 2006, Zhou Yun participated in the Asian U17 Junior Football Championship on behalf of the national youth team. In 2013, as the leader of the provincial National Games team, he participated in the National Games held in Shandong Province with his team members. On the road of professional football player, Zhou Yun has been working hard.

In 2006, Zhou Yun was selected into the national youth team and participated in the Singapore Asian Youth Championship. Although he finally passed the world youth championship, Zhou Yun admitted that this competition was a good experience for him. In this national Olympic team, there are several old comrades of Zhou Yun, including Gao Di, Wang Yunlong and Liu Dianzuo.
In March 2013, Zhou Yun was selected into the Chinese national men's football team.

In April 2017, in the match between Jiangsu Suning and Henan Jianye, Zhou Yun completed his 200th official match on behalf of Jiangsu Suning, becoming the second player in the team to reach the milestone of 200 games after Ji Xiang. In his 200 matches, Zhou Yun played 159 times in the league, 22 times in the FA Cup, 16 times in the Asian Champions League and 3 times in the Super Cup.
On November 12, 2020, the second round of the 2020 season's CSL championship competition started, and Zhou Yun made his debut, eventually helping Jiangsu Suning win Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao 2-1 and win the first CSL championship in the team's history.
