Li Lihua was apprenticed to Mu Tiefen and Zhang Yeyun, famous Peking opera stars, when she was young. At the age of 12, she moved to Peiping. At the age of 16, she joined Shanghai Yihua film company. Personal life
Li Lihua was born in a Liyuan family. Her parents are both famous Peking Opera actors in China.
