Deng Guiping

Deng Guiping, a soprano, was admitted to the Opera Department of the Central Conservatory of music in 1978 and studied under Professor Shen Xiang, a famous vocal music educator. After graduation, he became a soloist of China Central Broadcasting Orchestra and was selected as a special invited singer of CCTV. In 1986, he won the dean's scholarship of Boston University School of art for outstanding performance and went to the United States for further study. In 1993, he got the "artist" diploma. In that year, she cooperated with St. Louis opera house to perform "Madame Butterfly" for the first time.

She has sung nearly 100 complete operas, symphonies, oratorios and concerts, including bohemians, Faust, Turandot, Figaro's wedding, Madame Butterfly, Mozart Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and oratorios genesis, Messiah, Magic Flute, etc. She has participated in many international vocal competitions and won the first prize of the second world China vocal Grand Prix in Rome. Deng Guiping's singing skills are proficient, her performance is in the play, and her grasp of the role is accurate and moderate. Her outstanding musical talent and rich singing experience make her singing level perfect day by day, just as a foreign music review said: "the opera protagonist has high requirements for singing level, while the Chinese born singer Deng Guiping is fully competent. Beijing Poly Theater held a "solo and duet concert of Liu Keqing and his friends". At the concert, the baritone singer, who has made great achievements in foreign vocal music circles, together with his friend soprano Zhang Chunqing, tenor Li Yuxin, soprano Deng Guiping and soprano Qu Jinli, presented a wonderful world opera masterpiece to the audience in the capital. They sang the famous arias of Leon cafaro's clown, Cournot's Faust, Puccini's Turandot, the West girl, Jordano's Andre Cheney, San Sang's Shensong and Dalila, muskani's country knight, Rossini's Barber of Seville, Verdi's jester and Aida And a duet. Their wonderful performance was warmly welcomed by the audience in the capital. The concert ended with "my sun" and "I love you China" as the repertoire. The whole concert was conducted by German conductor HERG Dawes.
