Qujiang lake, which flourished in the Qin and Han Dynasties, flourished in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and lasted for thousands of years, is a classic of ancient Chinese landscape architecture. Qujiang in the Qin Dynasty, a natural pond, called Kaizhou, where the first emperor of Qin built a famous palace - "Yichun garden". During the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, it was named "Qujiang" because of its vast water wave and zigzag bank, which "looked like the river of Guangling". It was listed in the Royal Garden, and built "Yichun Houyuan" and "Leyou yuan" for the palace. When Daxing City, the capital of Sui Dynasty, was built into a pool, Qujiang was included in the city outline. Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty called the pool "Furong pool" and the garden "Furong garden". It was renamed Furong pool. In the Tang Dynasty, Qujiang River was built on a large scale, yellow canal was dug, royal garden was built, Jiacheng city was built, wild goose pagoda was built, and new doors were opened. Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty restored the name of "Qujiang pool", while the garden was still named "Furong Garden", which was poured into Qujiang River from the South outside the city through yellow canal, and additional pavilions were built for Furong garden. Furong garden occupies a place in the southeast corner of the city, and protrudes outside the city. There is a wall. The total area of the garden is about 2.4 square kilometers.
